World Day of Social Justice 2021

I am most passionate about inequality in this world. My efforts are directed towards people having enough food to eat. There are people in society that go hungry, which doesn’t make sense given the excess food production in the world.

I believe our project (WLFB) support systemic inequality must be addressed in a grassroots fashion. While my project deals with a slice of systemic inequality - a growing sense of personal and community responsibility allows us to solve problems like food mis-distribution. I think that by developing a culture of zero food waste, we can better allocate our resources evenly to ensure everyone is well-fed.

Hope other youth can join our team of young food waste advocates. They can volunteer to host events to raise money for the needy. Youth can get involved with producing Fruity Clean at workshops, a soap made from food waste!
